Rising dengue cases in Lucknow, 12 positive in 48 hours
The state government is taking colorful way to manage the situation.
12 people have tested positive for dengue in Lucknow in the once 48 hours, while reports of another 70 suspected cases are awaited. Experts have advised that the dengue trouble has gone up with water stagnating in numerous corridor of the quarter due to rain.
Lucknow quarter health education officer Yogesh Raghuvanshi said that “ the state capital has reported a aggregate of 159 dengue cases since January this time ”.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has asked hospitals to remain alert and make acceptable arrangements for treating dengue cases. Pathak, who also holds the health portfolio, has asked the principal medical officers of all the sections to insure that all hospitals have acceptable arrangements for the treatment of fever cases.

Pathak said in a statement “ Separate wards should be made for admitting dengue cases indeed at community and primary health centers. New pieces of outfit are being carried for the government hospitals in the state and a single patron platelet installation will also be handed to cases. Apheresis units are being established at the divisional position hospitals in the state. ”

Prof Kauser Usman, elderly faculty at King George’s Medical University, said “ The coming 10 days are pivotal as far as dengue is concerned as cases may rise vastly. ”

Shukla said that tone- drug in case of high fever should be avoided and proper medical advice should be taken.
“ High fever may be due to dengue or any other viral infection. Hence, it's significant to diagnose it for a speedy recovery, ” he added.
