Mobile Assistance Eligibility Norms for Farmers
- The following eligible people can apply online to get smartphone assistance for farmers.
- Farmers applying for Farmer Smartphone Assistance Scheme should be residing in Gujarat.
- If having joint account then ikhedut 8-A farmers out of them will get the benefit of this scheme only one of the holder package joint as mentioned therein.
- The mobile plan is available only for the purchase of the mobile only and does not include the accessories of the mobile like earphones, chargers, batteries etc.
Assistance under Farmer Mobile Assistance Scheme
In this scheme, the farmers get the following assistance for buying smartphones.
Khedut Mobile Sahay Yojana If farmers want to buy a smart phone, they are given assistance on the purchase of a mobile phone. If assistance is available on the purchase of smartphone by the farmer householder then 40 percent assistance will be available on the purchase of smartphone up to Rs 15000 or Rs 6000 whichever is less.
For example, a farmer buys at a price of Rs 12,000 and he will get Rs 4800 as assistance according to 40 percent of that price. If the farmer buys a mobile worth more than 15 thousand, he will get additional assistance of Rs.6000.

- Copy of Aadhaar card of the tenant farmer
- Copy of document like 7/12 6 no of farmer's land
- Copy of 8-A
- Copy of Canceled Check of Farmers
- Copy of bank account passbook
Rules of purchase under smartphone assistance scheme
- The farmer who wants to take advantage of this scheme has to first apply online through the IKHEDUT portal.
- After applying online, you will be informed through SMS or e-mail that pre-approval will be given by the district office.
- If you are selected in Mobile Sahay Yojana, you have to purchase the mobile within 15 days.
- After that, the purchase documents of the phone have to be deposited in the office.
- Your mobile phone bill has to be presented at their scheduled time after the scheme is implemented.
